
Louis XII (1498-1515) control surface France with wisdom and kindness, but involved, like Charles VIII, by his taste for the adventures, it undertakes to conquer the Milanese and the kingdom of Naples.
In the first forwarding, it removes the Milanese with the duke Sforza (1499).
It then links with king d' Aragon Ferdinand the Catholic, to seize the kingdom of Naples (1501), but the two allied ones cannot get along on the division of their conquest, and dispute it by the force; the French Army, badly organized, is overcome, in spite of Bayard, and the kingdom of Naples is still lost for France (1503).
